It’s true…we live in a competitive world and competition in the local market grows stiffer day by day. Being a small business owner yourself, you likely found this page as a result of search engine marketing while looking for a Chicago SEO Expert that could help you get more visitors to your website.

To put it bluntly, you must outpace your competitors at every turn (in the healthiest spirit of competition, of course) so that you can grab a good portion of the consumers actively looking for what you have to offer.

But I know you’re asking…with all of the tasks on your ‘to-do’ list, how do you get in front of potential customers at this critical moment of their buying process and still have time to run your business?

First, know that people are always looking for ‘the best’ in whatever they are seeking. And when it comes to the web, we generally assume that the cream rises to the top so if a local business is at the top of the search results, it must be the best. Don’t you?

Well, that’s where Local SEO comes in…

What is Search Engine Optimization? Search Engine Optimization (a.k.a. SEO) is the process of utilizing strategic on-page and off-page tactics to ensure that search engines find your site when searchers type in relevant keywords related to your offerings. In short, techniques that make your site appear in those coveted top spots of the search engine results. Local SEO applies those same techniques to your specific city/region.

Getting yourself on the first page, and even better the top half of the page will guarantee that your website gets more visitors, visitors that could turn into potential customers, leads and sales.

That being said, you should actively incorporate local SEO into your marketing strategies so that it is your business that shows up on the first page of search engine results.

Understand that most people simply won’t scan past the 1st page when examining search results, so it is critical that you focus your energies on getting your business’ site on the first page at minimum. Preferably in a spot above the fold (i.e. a searcher doesn’t have to use the scroll bar in order to see your listing).

Basically, the higher you website ranks, the more traffic your website will get. Getting to the top spot takes time and persistence but it’s a goal well worth the effort when you begin to see all of the added sales rolling in. So your ultimate goal is to  make it to the 1st page of search results.

Having a well laid out website ready to help you capture more sales is great. However, it can’t do it’s job well if it doesn’t have any visitors. Again, that’s where SEO comes in…

Therefore if you want to get a lot of traffic to your site, then you need to make ranking high in the search engines for buyer keywords relevant to your product or service a top priority, like yesterday.

Just be sure that your website is set-up and ready for the flood of traffic because there is nothing worse than getting a ton of traffic that falls flat once it gets there. Or worse, bounces clear off of the page (after you’ve done so much to get it there in the first place) before they even have a chance to see how awesome you, your products or services really are. What are you doing to make that happen?

“Thank you so much for developing such an awesome website for me!  Initially I was very reluctant to admit that I needed one desperately, even though I knew it would benefit my practice and bring me into the 21st century.  Well I must say your design far exceeded my expectations.

I really appreciated the way you were able to put my vision into a graphic design.  Also appreciated were the pointers you gave and utilized to make it pop up so easily.  I had a new patient to comment on how she found me on the web the first week you developed it!

I was also impressed with how quickly you were able to put it together with only a small amount of my input. You are truly gifted and talented and it has been a pleasure working with you.”

— Terri’ Foster, D.P.M., Foot & Ankle Wellness Center

“Thank you for the prompt, professional service! The website is beautiful and receiving many compliments!”

– Dr. Martins Adeoye, Elemental Center For Personal Development

I look forward to doing business with you again and often.  Thanks again for a job well done.”

Discovery Page

Thanks for visiting my Discovery Page. Here’s where we’ll begin the process, see if we’re a good fit to work together and, most importantly, get more customers in the doors of your business that turn into sales. I have a good feeling we can.

But there’s something you should know first…

SEO is not a ‘shot in the dark’ — last ditch effort to save your business. No method of marketing is.

SEO is not something you can ‘give a try for a month or two’ and expect transformational results. Although stellar results can and often do happen quickly (especially with my methods), the best results are cumulative and result from consistent, daily, strategic efforts over time.

So if you’re not ready to commit to 6 months at least, then this is probably not the right marketing strategy for you right now. If I were you, I would start with something smaller, like a Direct Mail postcard campaign to your past customers and do that on a monthly basis (consistency being the key here too). Then come back when your cash flow can sustain a more powerful marketing effort on an ongoing basis.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to discourage you by any means. However, I do feel it is my responsibility to manage expectations so that we have a fruitful and enjoyable working relationship. If I take you on as a client, I take the success of your business personally. I’m investing in you (not in the sale of another widget).

So if this sounds like the right place, go ahead and complete the Discovery Form below and let’s get started…

Don’t worry, it’s simple & painless *wink*

I just need to get a sense of what your goals are and what you’re selling, of course. So without further ado, get in touch…
